In the latest versions of Minecraft, the developers have added an interesting feature - now you can put your flag on each Shield in the game. This is a great innovation that allows you to bring variety to the game and form your own armies. But some fans players did not really like the implementation - the image superimposed on the shield, in the game looks like an incongruous set of pixels, in which the overall pattern only peeks through.
That's why the creator of the "Improving Flags on Shields" texture decided that the situation should be corrected: he created new anti-aliasing shield models, which look much better in the game than the original ones.
In the screenshot below you can compare how the game's custom-designed shields look before installing the texture and after.
The texture will fix graphics flaws on all types of flags.
You will also be able to set the parameters of the flags yourself by adjusting the sliders.

List of changes
The developer regularly adds new parameters to the texture to control shields and graphical effects, as well as removes unnecessary elements in the code, so that the texture is not too heavy and does not slow down the game on weak devices.
