Map: Hordes of zombies (Apocalypse)

This custom map has been created for fans of zombie apocalypse stories. The undead are already waiting for you in the world of Minecraft blocks! The map is suitable for multiplayer: it offers 13 adventure options in different locations, and can accommodate up to 40 players at a time.

The game

To extend interaction with all the objects on the map, download the special Zombie Hordes mod. This will enable you to assemble a complete author's apocalypse world for Minecraft: it will include not only mobs and locations, but also new objects, weapons, a soundtrack and even a special interface. And most important of all, a well-thought-out plot!

Multiplayer

The map is suitable for group play - you don't have to fight zombies alone, you can invite your friends! The host of the map will be the one who invited all the others. Multiplayer settings and control will be at his disposal: no more than 40 players can be present on the map at the same time.

Start-up menu

The map will not start immediately when you access it. This is an action game, so you may not be ready, and usually have to wait for the other players. The start-up menu will display a countdown to the start of the game, and you can adjust your readiness yourself and extend the time if the whole team isn't together yet.

Player menu

Each user will also have his or her own menu, in which you can adjust the game's individual settings. There will also be a reference to the zombies that populate the author's world (there are several kinds).

In-game store

The map has its own store with unique items and weapons that will come in very handy in the fight against the zombies. You can buy the items you need for :

Special abilities and upgrades also appear in the store. And to ensure that commerce can withstand the flow of players, there are two "branches" at a time in the lobby. However, queues are always created, as the menu can only be opened by one player, so the next multiplayer player will have to wait.

Merchants

You can also buy armor in the zombie world: the merchant is a peaceful duck in the pond.

Battles

The main objective of the map is to defeat an army of zombies that has taken over the world. The more players on the map, the more spectacular the attack. Please note that for large-scale multiplayer, you'll need a powerful device, otherwise lock-ups and breakdowns are inevitable.

Chainsaw mode

Everyone's used to standard Minecraft weapons, but on this map there are no rules. Use the chainsaw to eliminate your enemies quickly and spectacularly!

Game modes

Various zombie combat modes are available on the map, each with its own characteristics. More than 10 types of adventures and endless attacks await you. Let's take a closer look at the game modes, so you can take on different challenges in the world of the apocalypse.

Zone Hold mode

Your task is to clear 5 zones of zombies and take control by repelling enemy attacks. The more multiplayer players you have, the faster you can complete your task.

Apocalypse mode

As if no one had realized that the end of the world had arrived! This mode counts zombies killed, but not victims of your chainsaw. The more enemies you kill, the more experience you gain.

Nightmare mode

This mode is similar to Apocalypse mode. It's only called Nightmare mode because the difficulty level increases considerably, making it almost impossible to fight the zombies.

Ghost town mode

The starting position is rather sad: zero experience. You have to guess where the zombies will appear from, and their flow is uninterrupted. Bonus (hee hee, not for you!) - zombies are upgraded.

Radiation mode

Here, zombies are not only the reanimated dead, but also those killed by radiation... Scary as hell. They spare no one.

Johnny mode

Actually, Johnny isn't very friendly: in this mode, it's the chainsaw that attacks you, not the zombies!

Bobby mode

Bobby is another hostile type in this world. He's very dangerous because he doesn't just attack you, he also inflicts 32 points of damage in a single blow.

Zombie totem

Another variant of apocalypse mode, but here all the zombies use the boost. And you... as luck would have it. Stop by the store before setting off to explore the world.

Village defender mode

It turns out there are still survivors in the world of the apocalypse! You'll have to protect the villager from zombies and heal him with special golden apples.

Never-ending mode

Your fight against the zombies will never end! Fight to infinity in three types of apocalypse, and the zombies... are too numerous to stop.
