Mod: Virtual Eid al-Adha

The classic version of Minecraft contains virtually no items to brighten up the festive season. No gifts, no hats, no fireworks that the specialists at Mojang still haven't added. Which is why we certainly can't do without modifications. What changes? It depends on your mood, your personal preferences and even your religion.

Animals

The mod-pak adds several species of animals to the sandbox that are not similar to those already available in Minecraft and that don't appear in the surrounding biomes, and at the same time - don't reproduce and don't contribute any resources after their death (no meat, no skin, no wool).

As for animals, the amendment contains several new items required for Eid al-Adha.

Livestock pens

A one-piece structure with a wooden roof, which is automatically "assembled" without the use of any materials.

Inside are several animals, which the developers offer to buy on the eve of the vacations for special gold coins.

The structure is purchased from shepherds - in exchange for mined wood, iron ingots and, in some cases, emeralds.

Currency

A new currency that can be exchanged for items from local merchants.

Rope

The rope can be used to stun stray animals (goats or cows) and tie them up tightly just before slaughter.

This new item is only used for sneaking and is assembled from a leash already available in Minecraft.

Machete

Animals are slaughtered and butchered using a machete. Everything happens automatically, but only if the goat or cow is tied up with a rope.

Immediately after slaughter, the cattle must be suspended from the ceiling by a special hook, in order to drain the blood and remove the skin.

Once these operations have been completed, the carcass can be used for future feasts.

Bloody Machete

An exclusive weapon skin that appears after slaughtering animals.

Water bucket

A specific item needed to clean several objects, including a machete.

A small container resembling a wooden bathtub is assembled from several wooden blocks cut in half.

Animal carcasses

Carcasses of slaughtered cows or goats that have not yet been prepared for feasting.

Meat hook

A special structure on which the slaughtered body of an animal is hung for later religious preparation.

The hook is assembled from an iron grid and a few ingots.

Butcher's knife

Carving knife used to cut up carcasses and prepare pieces of meat for the feast.

The recipe for making it is fairly predictable: a stick, a few pieces of iron and some ingots.

Shepherd

Livestock seller and part-time local farmer, engaged in raising cows and goats.

With NPC developers available in the modification and forced to trade, exchanging coins for animals.
